Hello everybody,
halo Marcin

we had a crash from our ABRK panel a few weeks ago. Marcin, do you remember?
With your help we were able to reload the firmware version "ABRK_Rev03_101.hex". It worked again, thanks for that.
Since then we have had the following new problem with the ABRK panel (not always!):
- We switch on the voltage (PSU and industrial USB hub)
- some LEDs (very different, sometimes ABRK, sometimes Gear ...) light up
- The ABR panel cannot be operated.
- Example: ABRK Max light up, we press the MAX key, nothing happens, it continues to light up.
- Then disconnect USB
- Wait 10 seconds
- Connect USB
- Everything OK!

This happens about every 3rd or 4th switch on.

Does anyone have an idea, a tip?

Thank you very much, greetings
Mario

Hi Mario
I would suggest to disconnect T'gauge and see if this would help. If does, then for T-Gauge you need to use different PSU then for ABRK

Hello Marcin,

we will test that.
Before the last firmware installation, this always worked without problems.
I test it and get in touch!

What is the status of "Elevator trim is not reset to 0 at touchdown"?

Best wishes

Hello Marcin,

we have now tested for several weeks, without success.
The problem persists even if the T-Gauge is not connected.
We also tried an extra power supply, same effect.
It's like the lottery, sometimes everything is ok at startup, but sometimes this error also occurs.
It is often the case that it only affects the exits.
The inputs work, you can see that on the ECAM, but the LEDs on the buttons do not light up.
If you then switch the outputs via the IO test, nothing happens.
USB out of ABRK, wait 10 seconds, USB in and Profiler restart, everything ok.
Strange!

regards
Mario

Hi Mario, it seems i have a similar issue with the FCU-EFIS. In my opinion there only two reasonable issues which can have this effect. One is the USB itself. You know that sometimes USB ports show strange behavior. It seems somtimes like a kind of "oxidation" . This also happens randomly after some Windows updates aswell. Once you unplug the power and really cut off every current from the ports and waiting that the resistors get unloaded aswell. After power up everything seems ok again.
The second possible isse could be a cold welding somewhere or a loosen contact on the circuitboard of the panel. Especially if allways the same parts of the panel gets affected.
