Hi Marcin, my trimwheels are not resetting to 0 at touchdown like they do in the real airbus. I have raised the issue to Jeehell already, because i thought that the hardware is acting "passive" and as long the FMGS-software doesn´t command the reset on touchdown the trimwheels aren´t resetted either.

Jean-Luc has told me, that the reset on touchdown is emplemented in the FMGS and as far as he knows it´s an issue in the Skalarki Profiler. May you can you put some light onto it? Or tell me where i can set the profiler correctly. :)

I´am hopeing that the silence means Marcin is working on a solution.
Logically i couldn´t imagine that it wont work, because physically the connection of the hardware to Jeehell exist. And if the trimwheels are able to be moved by Jeehell to represent the actual elevator trim up and down, why it schouldn´t turn the wheels to zero if Jeehell FMGS commands it at touchdown.;)

Hello Bernd,
Sorry, I've only just gotten back to taking a look here.
Thanks for your feedback. I think there are too few users with this problem, so we are at the bottom of the ToDo.
Shame, I also think that fixing this shouldn't be a big problem.
So continue to wait and hope that there will be a solution at some point.

regards
Mario

Hi guys . I received a package today with the new TQ 2015. And I have the same problem. Upon landing, it is not reset to "0". Although in flight everything works fine. I also have another problem - before taking off on the ground, I try to manually set the trimmer to, for example, 0.8 UP, but on the FMGS system display, the trimmer immediately moves to 5.1 UP. I move to 0 and the display shows 4.4 UP. In the profiler, I calibrated all axes. I can't understand what the problem is!

There is no need to calibrate Trim for fmgs. It works without calibration.

@Sergej

I had the same issue. Solution for me was found in this thread here > posts #16/17 > you need to edit your profil.xml.

@Marcin, any news on the reset to "0" after touchdown?

Thank you so much. This topic helped me. I solved one problem. But how to solve the problem with resetting to "0" after landing ???

Guys, if you think logically, I think there is an error in the profiler. Therefore, the trim is not reset to "0" upon landing. I noticed the following - after landing, the trim of the trimmer wheels is immediately unlocked and can be trimmed manually. Therefore, physically, he cannot reset to "0". If it was blocked, it would follow the software. And he behaves as if he thinks that we are before takeoff and allows us to set the trim manually. Let's think together how to fix it!

i´am too at the opinion that it could be realised somehow like Sergei mentioned. I guess this would need a change in the profiler or even an update for the driver/firmware, only Marcin can provide.

We are all looking forward to Marcin update. What he wrote above. But for now, silence. Apparently it's not very easy!
